The Society organises 6 evening lectures during the winter months and these are held in the Brora Community Centre, at the rear of Brora Primary School. All talks begin at 7.30pm and most are held on a Thursday. The meetings are open to all and there will be a raffle (donations always welcome). Refreshments and admission are free.  Anyone wishing to join the Society will be made particularly welcome.

The Society holds an annual themed ‘open night’, for members and non-members alike, so that particular aspects of the growing Society archive can be displayed to the public.

A previous event was held at the Brora Heritage Centre, when over 60 people turned up to see all of the current displays at this gold-mine of a venue.

The Society is heavily involved in guided walks and talks of the archaeology of the parish. Each year it makes a contribution to Highland Archaeology Fortnight and Scottish Archaeology month and these are always popular.

The Society has run the Brora Heritage Centre for the last few years - with generous support from HighlifeHighland and The Highland Council. There are both changing and permanent exhibitions detailing the history and heritage of the Parish.

Entry is £3 for adults and free to children. The centre is open from 10:30am to 4:30pm every day until the end of October.
